Every year, Encounter Night happens because people just like you show up early, stay late, and serve so that thousands of people from across North County San Diego can walk into a room and encounter Jesus.
This year we're at Frontwave Arena for the first time! Which means we need more hands than ever. If you've got a few hours to give on November 8, we'd love to have you on the team.
Serving at Encounter Night is its own kind of worship. Before a single note is played, someone has set up a chair, welcomed a family at the door, prayed with a stranger, or helped a car find a parking spot. None of that happens without you — and none of it goes unnoticed by God. If you're part of the North County church community and want to be part of what God's doing through this night, there's a place for you on the team.

Help set up around 200 chairs ahead of the event. This is a hands-on, behind-the-scenes role that makes sure everything's ready before doors open.TIME COMMITMENT: X-XAM
Help guide traffic and direct cars into parking. Parking is free for everyone, and a smooth, well-directed lot makes a great first impression before guests even reach the door.Arrival Time: 4:00pm.
Be the first friendly face people see. Ushers welcome guests as they arrive, help direct people to their seats, and make sure everyone feels at home the moment they walk in.Time Commitment: 4:00pm-9:00pm. You'll be inside the arena so you'll get to enjoy the night at the same time.
Staff one of our merch booths, help guests find what they're looking for, and handle sales throughout the night. Time Commitment: 4:00pm-9:00pm (We will rotate volunteers so you can enjoy the night also.)
Serve at one of three prayer stations, available to pray with anyone who wants prayer during or after the event. This role is for people who carry a heart for personal ministry and want to be present with people in real moments.Arrival Time: 4:30PM
